Easily work with threaded pipes and pipe fittings with the Mastercraft Grip Breaker Pipe Wrench, 12-in. Thanks to its dual material grip, the self-adjusting pipe wrench offers up to 6x more gripping power versus a standard combination wrench. Its spring-loaded serrated jaws grip fasteners and pipes tightly while you work. The grip breaker wrench fits over 50 HEX fasteners and NPS pipe sizes. The slip joint locking button is a useful feature for easy adjustment to fit both standard and metric hex fasteners, even when they are rounded. This pipe wrench has laser-etched hex-size markings on its jaw to reflect metric and SAE on each side. Drop-forged steel construction offers long-lasting performance and added durability. The self-adjustable wrench has a fully polished chrome finish for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. This tool engages 3/8 to 1-3/4 inches hex fasteners (equivalent to 10mm to 44mm) and 1/8 to 1-1/4 inches NPS size pipes (equivalent to 3/8 to 1-3/4 inches bar stock).

Getting a Good Grip

This tool made gripping a round pipe easy. I had to update my shower head and couldn't get a good grip on the round extension pipe. The area was too small to use a wrap wrench and this tool did the jop easily.
