Great ladder, very sturdy and stable with great grippy feet , lightweight (27lbs) and easy to maneuver - I'm getting older (mid 60's) and my older 24ft extension ladder was just too awkward and heavy to carry, set up and maneuver to clean my eve's regularly -can carry this one with one hand and can easy prop it up to extend...love it !

Q: When you list a ladder as a 20 foot extension ladder. is that length when it is extended or not extended?

A: Neither. It's only called a "20-foot ladder" because it's made of two 10' sections. But the sections need to overlap even when fully extended, so it will never be 20' long in any case.
