A: They just slid into your ladders rung holes. So they maybe troublesome at first ( mine kept slidding out when on the ground ) but work very well and are easy to remove for ladder storage.

A: These will work on almost any ladder providing 2 things: 1) that the diameter of the arms is not bigger than the 'diameter' of the opening in the end of the rung of the ladder 2) the distance between the rungs of the ladder compared to the span between the end of the arms are not too different that either compressing or stretching the ends of the arms to fit into the rungs would cause a permanent deformation of the arms

Q: does it fit to any size of ladder? I brought one pair, but I can't push them fully inside my 22 ft extended ladder; it only reached half way of the arms. I am afraid that it cannot hold the weight.

Q: How do these stay in the ladder without coming out?

A: You have to have a ladder that has round and hollow rungs on it. You insert the ends in each of the top two rungs of your ladder and the round part sits on your roof. They "spring" a little so that is what keeps them in the rungs. It works well to keep the ladder off your eavestrough.

Q: Will these work on an extension ladder that I need to go up 25 feet. Will the arms do damage to the bricks, or the bricks damage the arms as I extend the ladder?

A: Yes, as long as the kit fits the ladder. They will not damage bricks, there is a PVC tube as the protection.
