Best Clamps I Own

It's a shame these clamps seem to have been discontinued. They were extremely well made and were easily the most versatile clamps in my shop. I own 8 of them and have purchased them for various gifts and special occasions for others.

Pleasantly Surprised

I purchased one of these clamps on sale, not expecting too much. I was very pleasantly surprised at its quality. Most "adjustable" products, in a market of non-adjustable ones, usually are not up to the task. This clamp is built very well and is capable of significant usage. I've got probably 30-40 C-Clamps in my shop and this model does what they all can do. It is easy to adjust and doesn't come apart under tension. It can replace a lot of ordinary C-Clamps. Due to its size and weight it's not very practical to use for any job that you'd normally use a 4" and smaller C-Clamp. For anything bigger, up to 7", this is a good tool.

interesting idea, but screw is too short

If you notice in the picture, the clamping screw is just bottomed-out at the 4" position. Depending on the size of your work piece, the screw may not be able to clamp it down at the longer positions. For the cost of two clamps, why not just buy two clamps?
