I previously gave this a one as it died completely. Turns out it was the pressure switch was stuck. It now seems to be operating okay again. Have to give it a bit and see how it goes.

Cut my hive build time by 75%

Nailing everything together with a nail gun and this compressor cut my time significantly. I was able to build far more wooden ware for this beekeeping season than I ended up needing, so I am already ahead for next year. The compressor did a great job. People complain about it being noisy, but its an air compressor, what do they expect?

Hard to Beat the Price and Longevity

I've been using this tool for over 5 years now. I've used it for spray painting, filling tires, blowing out water lines and many finish nailers. I've even used it to run a framing nailer and a coil roofing nailer.
The only issue I've ever had with it is that I tilted it once too far and the oil plug broke off. Can Tire doesn't carry parts for this compressor so I've had to make due with a plug with different threading.
If mine ever dies, I'd buy another.

A: Only a few Mel's. A 500 ml bottle will last you forever. It is only a lubricant for the compressor. Just add some when needed as indicated by the oil line in the fill window . Get the oil at Canadian Tire -- "compressor oil".

Q: how to change the oil

A: It's 12 OZ, 10W-30 non-detergent compressor oil, normally the oil needs to be changed after running for 50 hours. Please make sure the oil level is always between the red circle on the sight glass win down as the instruction on the manual. See attached photo.

Q: Why does my unit say it's 2 hp. Also what is the output in cfm not scfm?

A: It says 2hp - means the motor is 2hp, volt is 120V, and rated current is 12 amps. It's 3.5 CFM@90psi
