Works like a charm

Cut through a few feet of 3/4" pine, and it worked just fine. Its nice having the blade storage in the unit, and it comes with a straight edge attachment too for cutting straight lines or even circles.

I guess you get what you pay!

I bought this last week when it was on sale. I started cutting my new gate's panels to install an insert and next think I know the rotating support ball behind the blade was missing and I had to stop there. Went back to Canadiantire and returned right away. I don't know if all of them are similar but for me was not a good experience.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: This jig saw does not have a vacuum adapter to use with a vacuum, sorry for the inconvenience.

Q: Am I installing the blade wrong? I push the blade holder up as far as it will go, insert the blade, and the blade holder barely moves back at all. I am doubting that it is being properly held

A: Please check the operation of attaching the blade according to the instructions below. If there is still a problem with the blade holder please call toll-free service line 1-800-689-9928 to get further assistance. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you. 1. Unplug the jigsaw from the power supply. 2. Turn the tool upside down, depress the tool-less blade clamp, and insert the blade into the slot of the clamp as far as it can go. The back of the blade must rest in the groove of the guide roller. 3. Release the tool-less blade clamp to lock the blade. Pull on the blade to check that it is securely locked in place.
