    Don't waste your money

Bought this drill cause I needed a right angle drill to get into tight spaces while building my deck. I would only recommend buying this on sale and only then if you absolutely need to. Your better off spending more and buying a better brand drill like say a Dewalt or Bosch, or pretty much anything else. This is a one or two use drill. First drill was became very noisy after very light use just like others have reported, not long after the drill seized up. I assume the bearings jammed up on it. Took it back and got a replacement on warranty but I don't expect it to last much longer either as it is now making the same "rattle of death" that the first drill did just before it packed it in. It is now out of warranty and I suspect the next time I use it the bearings on it will pile up as well. Cheap drill that got the job done but what can I say, it's a throw away and is complete garbage. Next time I'll spend a little more and get a good right angle drill that will last more than 1 job.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Worst purchase ever

Used it once for about ten minutes then put it away. Second time I used it was just after the warranty had expired. It ran for about 15 minutes then started making a grinding noise. I turned it off, let it sit for ten minutes and then tired it again. It would not work at all, dead, dead, dead. I guess it is only designed for a single use,if you only need to use it once for a short time and throw it away buy this garbage.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Single use tool

Purchased for finishing home project. From the very beginning the gears were noisy. Drilled may be dozen 3/8' and 1/2' holes between the beams and the project was finished. The very next use the gears grind on 3-rd 1/2" hole, without much force on the drill. I took it apart and the problem appeared to be bad design of the 90 degree gears housing. The grip is unnecessary large (long) which lead to long straight shaft from motor to gear box. I do not recommend this product, unless Mastercraft redesign it. And in addition - the electronic speed control doesn't function well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't waste your money and save for something better. Bought this a for job, used it a couple times, put it away until I needed it again, did one hole and stopped. Took back to the store and just out of warranty. CHEAP tool and don't last.

No, I do not recommend this product.

no other way to finish my project

I needed this as I could not get any other drill into the space I had to complete my project. Everyone should have one in thier tool box. Don't need it that often but when I do it performs the job it was created for, working in tight spaces. Elongate design also allows you to hold it with two hands it required. Would be better if it had a keyless chuck which I'm sure is on the way.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: What is the inch / pound Torque rating?

    1 Answer
    • A: We typically do not rate the in/lbs torque on AC tools, as they have a constant power supply, and are typically not rated as such because this is not a requirement to its function. For example on an Impact Wrench where in/lbs of torque are required for its actual application i.e. putting lug nuts on a wheel on a car.Inch/lbs torque rating is not something used in industry.
