The tools are great and the warranty is awesome. I'd like to see stronger tool holders (tray they come in) for longer lasting use in the tool box.

Great set, especially when on sale

If you're a DIY person, you need this set, and if you find it on sale, you're definitely in for a good deal. I picked mine up for 70% off and couldn't be happier. The tools are great quality. The ratchets work well. My only complaint is that the numbers are somewhat difficult to read since they are etched and not engraved. There is one larger, more expensive set of Maximum tools available at CT, but that set seems to contain many tools that are not useful to everyone, especially if you don't use impact tools.

Fait la job pour le coffre à outil à la maison mais je ne me verrais pas au travail avec ça.
Le ratchet 1/4 est un stanley, en essayant de me le faire échangé pour un mastercraft, on m'a dit que c'était le même, qu'ils étaient fabriqué à la même place... Kit parfait lorsqu'il est à 70% de rabais, sinon, je ne le conseille pas.

Q: why are the wrenches in this set laser etched rather than engraved like the wrenches sold separately?

A: MAXIMUM Socket Sets = All contents (Ratchets, Sockets, Ext bars, Wrenches) are all laser etched. This is to position the product differently from Mastercraft. The sockets were laser etched and the wrenches were hard marked so we do it to keep everything consistent. MAXIMUM Wrenches = If you buy a wrench set, you will notice that the MAXIMUM wrenches are Hard Marked (not laser etched).

Q: 12-point sockets? I purchased this item and it did NOT come with any 12-point sockets. Is the description for this product incorrect or was my box missing them?

A: I didn't see it say anywhere on the box that it had 12pt, but the sales guy said it had both when I bought it. As I said in my review, I prefer 6pt because it's less likley to strip. 12pt are nice when things get tight...
