J'ai acheté cette toupie l'été dernier, elle a été utilisée au total moins de 10 heures (heures de service) dans des matériaux mou tel que du MDF et du pin. Le mandrin commence à être lousse ce qui fait des marque sur le bois à cause de la vibration et la clé de la barrure pour la profondeur de coupe (en plastique) saute sur la tête de la vis qui fait la barrure, donc le serrage n'est pas bon et la hauteur change. Pour ce qui est des fers fournis avec la toupie, ils sont bons pour le bois mou, j'ai essayé une coupe dans le bois dur et je n'ai pas été capable de couper dedans, même en jouant sur ma vitesse de rotation et en avançant très lentement. L'appareil devient chaud après quelques minutes d'utilisation.

J’ai acheter cette article l’année passée pour un cadeau à mon mari et hier il a utilisé pour le première fois après deux, il avait de la boucane qui sortait d’une dés poignets sur le côté avec une senteur d’outis qui passe au feu malheureusement j’ai égaré la facture., je ne ferrai plus confiance à cette marque !

Solid build

Has a good weight to it, and feels like it will last. Did not have a problem with the bits. Runs smoothly, however the plunge action is a little stiff, nothing I can't deal with though. First one I got was used and missing depth gauge, but we returned it and got a new one no problem.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Huge problem

Bought this router to do a basic cut on expensive wood.
Had to do 14 cuts the same way using a mild I made.
After 3 the bit started to move out.
Tighten it more and the same after 2 cuts tighten as much as possible but again it happened.
I used the bits sold to go with this router.
My wood became scrap and had to borrow my neighbours router which worked fine.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: I own one, and it can hook up to a router table, although it isn't easy to manage on one and sometimes wont work properly on there...I hooked mine up and it started to smoke(I quicky stopped it and it was fine). I would NOT recommend using it on a router table. But it is a really nice plunge router.

Q: Can the quarter inch collet be switched with a half inch collet in order to fit other, larger diametered shanked router bits? If so, can you recommend a part number?

Q: How do you adjust the height while its attached to the router table? Currently attached to a router table to do some work but I am having a hard time with the height adjustment. Is there a way to do an easy height adjustment? I know some have a screw that you can turn or others just easily adjust up/down in height.

A: Sorry but this router does not allow the quick height adjustment from the tabletop when it is used with a router table. Please adjust the height manually.

Q: CT recommends table 54-6841. But router does not sit square to table; handles interfere with leveling knobs. Any suggestions.

A: Thanking for choosing Mastercraft router and router table. Please check the base of the router and screwing the router onto the table, ensuring they are matching each other to sit square. If there is any further question please contact our service hotline 1-800-689-9928. If the handle of the router interferes with any of the leveling knobs, you could try to either change the position of the router by shall still be aligning with the three holes on the table top or adjust/rotate the leveling knob a little bit to avoid the interference.
