I purchased the Mastercraft 1.0 Cu-Ft Anti-Theft Fireproof Safe nearly a month ago, primarily for its fireproof function to store important documents. I deliberately chose this relatively large model expecting ample storage capacity. However, I immediately ran into a major design flaw: the internal dimensions. The aspect ratio (greater height than width) and the internal separators make it impossible to store mildly large documents, such as A4 or Letter size, without folding them. This severely limits its utility for document storage. My biggest concern is the integrity of the fireproof function related to the installation hardware. The safe includes a bolt hole for securing it to the floor, yet nothing is provided to fill this hole except for a loose plastic plug. I seriously doubt the safe's ability to maintain its fire rating with an open or poorly sealed bolt hole, unless the safe is secured to a concrete floor. Unfortunately, this restrict any other use case. Furthermore, the instructions present a practical dilemma regarding placement: they recommend securing the safe to a concrete floor while simultaneously discouraging installation in a garage. This begs the question: how many standard houses, outside of the garage, have concrete flooring accessible for installation? Who would want to store sensitive items in a garage or basement? This lack of practical guidance makes proper, secure installation difficult for most homeowners. Aside from that, the body seems to be strongly designed for its intended purpose.

Feels nice and solid, locks works fine, the only complaint is there are only holes for floor mounting and not wall mounting to supplement.

In total ot is good but it was small for me. Because there weren't any information about interior size on the box. Online is much cheaper.
