Very Good BASIC Microwave with Power

We wanted a basic microwave with more power; which this microwave has. It took a bit of playing around to figure out how to microwave something for 45 seconds; press power, press 45 and press start. We disabled the child lock feature; no children in our house; followed the instructions in the manual. We are very happy with his microwave so far.

Nice design and size - average operation

For the price it is a good little microwave but some features lack a little explanation. Someone commented that you were unable to add a custom time. While the manual does not show, and should, you can customize the cooking time. I had to play with it for awhile but figured it out. You must hit the Power button, cook button, enter your time (ex. 2:45) and then start. Nowhere in the manual or on line were we able to find this. Trial and error worked. It was also not easy to deactivate the new child lock feature even after following the instructions but were eventually able to successfully do that. All and all I think it will serve its purpose.

Mediocre microwave

The microwave works well and is nice looking. However, it lacks the ability to choose custom minutes/seconds, which is a problem for us. It has the 'quick start' minutes buttons 1 - 6, and a 30 second button. You can't choose 1 minute 45 seconds for example, only quick start button 1 minute plus 30 second button for 1 minute 30 seconds, and so on.
