Cet ensemble manque de robustesse! Cet ensemble est vendu avec trois articles: une tige pour sécurité le manchon de la boule qui est très efficace mais que le mécanisme de clés doit être lubrifié. Une seconde tige pour sécuriser la main de la remorque ou autre. la tige n'est pas résistante du tout. Elle peut-être brisée facilement et il faut lubrifier le mécanisme de clés à l'occasion. Pour la troisième pièce qui est l'article principal de sécurité. Il en est qu'un couvert de plastique qui se sépare en deux. À l'intérieur que des petites feuilles de métaux qui sécurisent le tout. Bref, un ensemble peu coût avec une qualité moindre et qu'un voleur peut s'en prendre, à mon avis; facilement!

Good locks for peace of mind

I bought this set for my new Travel Trailer and hitch. They work as expected and I can store my trailer without worrying about it being stolen. Plus the kit allows you to lock more than one trailer at a time if you desire. A must buy for those looking for cheap, yet reliable security.

Great item, especially if obtained on sale. Nice to have all the locks keyed for the same key...no more fiddling for the right key for the different locks. To any nay sayers...if they want your trailer, they'll take your trailer, regardless of the locking device. This product is great in that it utilizes more than one locking method, therefore making it more difficult and time consuming to take. Remember that the harder/longer it takes to get, it will most likely be left alone. Good price and quality!

Q: Will the locking pin long enough for a 2 1/2" receiver?

A: Unfortunately this kit is not designed to be used with a 2 ½” receiver. If you require a receiver lock designed for a 2 ½” receiver please consider Canadian Tire SKU 040 6908

Q: I lost the keys for the coupler? How can I unlock, or what can be done?

A: If you have a record of the key number, you may be able to source a replacement key by calling Master Lock directly at 1-800-227-9599. If you do not have a record of the key number, the lock will need to be carefully removed using a saw or grinder. It is important to be careful while removing the lock to avoid personal injury or property damage. If you have any reservations about removing the lock, or you do not have the required equipment, we strongly recommend bringing the lock to an automotive garage, such as your local Canadian Tire, or contact a professional lock smith.
