The description says will fit keys, access cards and fobs. Our fob (2023 Chrysler) simply will not fit. No way. The number pad I’d just too thick and the door will not close. It could take a few keys and a card, but a fob? Nope. Otherwise, it’s a great lock box. We will see how it handles our weather.

odd way to create codes

This was the cheapest one I could find that allows you to set custom codes. Not sure if other lockboxes do it this way, but to set the code, you use a little tool to manual turn very cheap feeling switches behind the door. Not a huge deal, just thought it was odd.

Q: I accidentally turned the dials only 90 degrees when setting my code and the lock closed before I recognized my mistake. The lock box is now locked but the code I was trying to put in will not open the box. Is there anyway I can open it now?

Q: how do you change the code to unlock it. I recently acquired one in a box of miscellaneous junk, it was unlocked, so i'd like to change the code' I'm assuming it has something to do with that little lever inside that say's RESET, but need a bit more help. There doesn't seem to be much movement in that lever.

  • A: Below are the steps to change the combination. If not set to the factory combination, you must know the current combination and the unit must be set to that combination to allow the programming to proceed. To set a new combination: The initial combination is set at the factory to 0-0-0-0 1. Open the compartment door (see instructions above) 2. Push the reset lever left and down. The lever remains in this position 3. Rotate dials to your desired combination 4. Push the reset lever, up and right, back to the original position 5. Close the key storage compartment door 6. Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and conceal your combination (A) 7. Close the shutter door (B)
