    Nice surprise!

I read the other reviews and wasn't sure this winch would do the job. Today I hooked it up and pulled my sons 1/2 ton chev extended cab truck up the ramps and onto my flat deck trailer. I did have to stop a few times and then continue, not sure if it was getting hot or what, but when I started again after 30 seconds, away it went. It was a very hard pull, but eventually got the job done. I can't think of anything heavier I will be loading. For sale price it was well worth it!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Unfortunately, not good enough for what we needed it for. We needed to replace the winch on our tent trailer.

Decent Tool - Awesome service from Supplier

So far I'd say it does a pretty good job. I used it to pull down some some pretty big trees (from the base) that wouldn't fall (because they were resting against other trees). And I've used it to pull a snow mobile onto a tilted trailer. I use it with a pulley to double the power. The last time I used it, I worked it too hard for too long and the electrical cable got too hot and melted the plastic insulation off at both ends of the cable. It was no longer usable. I wrote to the supplier/manufacturer asking where I could buy a replacement power cable. They said they had no way to sell me one so after a couple of email exchanges they offered to send me one for free....called it warranty. I was very impressed and appreciative. I don't know enough about electricity so I'll have to check whether it will make a difference but I'm thinking of shortening the power cable to reduce the risk of overheating it again. Of course, I'll be more careful not to overload it again. When this one dies, I'll probably buy another one (on sale).

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    pass on it

The first time I used it to get may nissan pickup out of snow, not a difficult pull, it reeled in the cable and with a little bit of tension it froze up and will not do anything. It has a tiny motor cheap stamped gears just a load of junk I wish thier was a harbour freight in Canada cause those badland winches have great reviews at great prices. PS the manual states that the winch pulls 2000 lbs at a 45 degree slope pathetic should be a dead lift at 2000 lbs

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Treuil polyvalent
