Good size, blade width but not sharp enough to cut

I bought this knife to cut vegetables. But, its not sharp enough.
Pros:
Its heavier than the one I bought earlier and has thicker blade which suggests a good life ahead. Knife's weight make it easy to cut vegetables. Its has a good handle and cover to keep it safe.
Cons:
Its not very sharp. After using it for a day or two, I had to sharpen it which is very unusual for a new knife.

Well made and a good universal size for most kitchen duties. Great value for a very low priced utensil. Sharp blade that has been put to the test in our home and it remains as new!
