Frustrating for everyday use. Screen is hard to see. Not enough distance from scale surface resulting in bowls blocking the screen. Moving them further away means it's not center, need to use seperate bowl to raise up. Using liquid or warm items, if anything spills on touch area it turns it off.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: The screw from the battery compartment cover does not come off when I try to remove it. Who can I contact for assistance with this?

A: I gently popped up cover after making sure the screw was thoroughly unscrewed. I believe the screw doesn't come out all the way so consumers don't lose it.Hope this helps.

Q: How do I change the battery? I can't figure out how to open the compartment on the back.

A: Remove screw from the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the scale and removed the cover. Take care when removing and replacing the battery door screw. Do not turn the screw in the wrong direction or over tighten it as this may strip the screw threads in the plastic batter door. Remove the old battery from the compartment. Place thee new battery with the "+" sign up into the battery compartment. Replace the battery compartment cover and screw(s).
