Q: Can this be used with the legs folded?

  • A: Hello Dan, It is not recommended to be used with the legs folded. The space created by opening the legs makes it safe to use on a table and not risk melting or burning the table.

Q: Can i put a heavy duty foil under the buttom of the lower grid (so just above the hot charcol) to make cleaning easly

  • A: Hello, I'm not sure if you mean that you want to put the foil so that it is between the charcoal and the food. I would not recommend that as it would block a lot of heat from cooking your food. If you want to put the foil under the charcoal to make cleaning easier, that is absolutely fine.

  • A: Hello Jerry, while the grill won't get ruined by doing this, we recommend using it as designed to be cooked with charcoal in the fire bowl. You Won't be able to get enough heat on the food if the fuel is outside the fire bowl. The rubber on the legs will melt however.
