Great for bread and other baking

I needed high sided mixing bowls, these are perfect. The high sides are great when using a hand mixer, the contents stay in the bowl rather than spraying everywhere. I also use them for making bread. They can hold a lot of dough, and with the high sides the dough rises up rather than spreading out. The lids are also great, not having to use plastic wrap is great. They nest so you they don't take up a lot of space when storing.

Perfect for Christmas Baking

We make Rice Krispie Squares (among other snacks) for Christmas sharing. We wanted to try the microwave method, so were looking for a LARGE bowl we could use in the microwave. This set solved the immediate need with the biggest bowl and we've already made good use of two of the other sizes as well.
