I had high hopes for this BBQ replacing an almost identical Cuisinart. Even with the turbo, the BBQ never heats beyond 350 degrees. Cooking on it is exceedingly slow.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. For heating issues, there are different causes that will depending on which fuel type you're using:

Propane:
You could have activated the flow limiting device in your regulator. To correct, perform a regulator reset procedure. For your convenience, I've included a link below to a step-by-step instructional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEQrCmTzkjA

PLEASE NOTE: To avoid activating this safety feature going forward, always perform the correct lighting and shut down procedures. Most importantly, open your LP cylinder shut off valve SLOWLY before starting your BBQ. If you turn the LP cylinder valve too quickly, the flow limiting feature in the regulator can sometimes think there is a leak in the fuel line and restrict the amount of fuel to the burner as a safety precaution.

Natural Gas:
Make sure that you have purchased the correct conversion kit (Item# 85-2261-4) and followed all of the steps in the manual. For your convenience I have also attached a link to step-by-step video instructions on our YouTube channel:

Q: I replaced an older bbq with this one. Can I use the same natural gas connection from old bbq or do I have to buy a new one specifically for this I connected it to the old connection and it’s only getting hot only to 300 degrees

A: I used the same connection and gas hose from my old bbq. If I turn all 4 burners plus the booster burner to high I believe it goes above 400 degrees. It does loose heat quickly when you open the hood.

Q: I have had my MC Tarrismo for about 1 month. It is hooked up to my natural gas line. I can not get the bbq to warm up over 325°. Have you had this reported as an issue before?
