Excellent Griddle – Much Safer and Easier Than Traditional BBQ

“I bought this Master Chef griddle about 10 days ago. I was getting tired of my traditional BBQ — it often burned the food or produced huge flames that were a bit scary. My old grill was due for replacement or at least some expensive repairs, so I decided to try a flat-top griddle after using one during a camping trip in the USA. I’m so glad I did! It’s easy to use, much safer, and surprisingly easy to clean. You just need to follow a couple of simple guidelines: clean it after every use and be patient while seasoning the surface before your first cooks. The Master Chef griddle is definitely worth the money, especially when you catch it on promotion. The build quality is solid, but if the price is similar, I would personally go with the Blackstone.

A: The Master Chef GT 4 Burner Griddle is NOT able to be converted to natural gas. Its CSA certified Liquid Propane ready only. There is a difference between a propane only valve assembly, and a convertible valve assembly. Unfortunately these griddles are 100% not able to convert to natural gas. These types of kits are not interchangeable because every valve has its own specification. Hope this helps!

A: Thank you for your question. The chain that hangs is a match lighting tool. If for any reason your barbecue ignition does not work and you need to light your griddle with a match. You would insert the match into the end of the tool, light it and position the lit match through the space located between the griddle top and burner box, to light the burners. This is a mandatory tool that must be on every BBQ sold on the market. Let us know if you have any other questions.

However, the measurements of the griddle top are as follows: DIMENSIONS: Length: 36" (91.4cm) Depth: 20" (50.8cm) Griddle top thickness is 4.5mm These measurements should help you find an metal cover accessory that fits your griddle top. Please Note: You will need to check the specifications of the accessory, to make sure it can withstand temperatures up to 650F, as some griddle covers are meant to be used only for storage purposes. (When the Griddle Top is fully cooled.) Hope this helps!
