I bought another Master Chef because dollar for dollar, it’s as good a barbecue as I have had. All the features are everything I need in a grill. Price was in the range I wanted to spend as well.

Bought roughly 2 weeks ago. Pleased with the assembled unit. Found assembly manual not as clear as it could be, some parts labeled, others not. Was able to assemble by myself except to lift top section into place.

Have only used it 3 times thus far and it seems to be a nice bbq grill. The elements fire up quick and the cast lid is heavy keeping the heat inside. No hot-spots detected to this point 👍

Q: Can this unit be used with natural gas conversion kit?

  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. The Master Chef Discover 5 Burner Grill is NOT able to be converted to natural gas. It's CSA certified Liquid Propane ready only. A purchase of a natural gas conversion kit would not be able to be used on this unit as the Propane gas orifices are not removeable to swap out for Natural Gas orifices. There is a difference between a propane only valve assembly, and a convertible valve assembly. Unfortunately this grill is not able to convert to natural gas. These types of kits are not interchangeable because every valve has its own specification. Any attempt to convert to a different fuel source would void the warranty. Hope this helps!
