Opened and tested the newly bought small and lovely unit. After switching on for a test with a cup of water, there was some burning smell, may be paint or some dust. However, after testing once again after a gap of around 8 hours, the burning smell (this time some rubber burning smell) literally growing with the time in just under 2 minutes. Disconnected and connected to the electric outlet after few minutes only to notice that unit is working but smell started once again. Returned this unit and got a bigger 1.3 cu. ft. one (double price) which did not let me down.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How do I cook something on express cook for a specific amount of time, example: 1 minute, and 20 seconds? When I push the numbers, only whole minutes come up, like 2 minutes.

A: Express Cook is a function to cook in whole minutes. If you want to cook for say 1 min 20 sec, select Time Cook and input 120 and Start.

A: Child lock can be turned off by long pressing POWER + STOP + START all at the same time. You should then hear a beep and a message of ON or OFF should flash on the screen. OFF means child lock is off and ON means child lock is on.
