This step stool is TERRIBLE! My husband and I used it for less than a month because it broke! We bought it shortly after we moved on May 1 and on May 23 it broke right under my husband’s feet. He’s 6 ft and 196 lb, I’m 5’10 and 163 lb. There’s no reason why this should’ve broken right under his feet. We are grateful nothing worse happened. We were using this step stool to bring dinnerware down from our top shelves, so thankfully it didn’t brake while doing that! We bought a metal 2-step ladder and it’s way sturdier. Worth spending the extra dollars instead of risking it. See the picture for yourself, it literally shattered.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What is the height of the step? What am I missing here? Why can't CT put USEFUL information in their product descriptions, such as, maybe the HEIGHT of the step when it is being used? There are other models and manufacturers with different sizes you know. LOL
