Makes Life Easier

Trying to get canning lids out of boiling water, when you are rushing is a recipe for disaster. I found the magic wand just sped up the process and eliminated the burnt finger tips. It made one step of the process much easier.

Handy gadget

This is a very hand gadget for canning. Saves you from burning your fingers when trying to fish prepared lids out of boiling water. Also helps prevent damage to the rubber edges of the lid.

A handy gadget

When I first started canning last summer I wasn't using this gadget to fish out my lids and rings but finally decided to pay up to help my processing go a bit smoother. This wand is handy but only recently I've had to use it for larger lids and the magnet doesn't seem strong enough and the lids fell from it a few times, which is kind of annoying. But overall, it's been handy with some limitations. It's also a bit pricey for what it is but sometimes the cost is worth the hassle.
