Bought the hook2 7 tripleshot for my kayak about 1 1/2 years ago. Works good when it does. Gives me a lot of problems, doesn't always auto set the depth so I have to restart it every now n then. Recently it gave me a no transducer found and then all orange screen. Looked for pinches and bends but everything looks fine.

I ran both side by side. The Mark5xpro
Was more sensitive, picked up more detail with 83khz setting.
The 7xTS really is just a colour screen.
Doesn’t show better detail.
Downscan and side scan were useless.
No GPS map makes it useless.
A complete waste of money.
Oh it did tell me my speed. Wooo hooo!
