I purchased this straight from their website at the sale price and worked twice with poor quality display..never worked after that. their customer service is about the same..POOR.

This camera is junk, lags badly so you will hit whatever you are trying to avoid before the image lets you know that you are about to hit something. grainy picture does not work as advertised. Do not waste your money, I learned the hard way.

Ok...so I decided to give this product a try. Other reviewers indicated that there is a time delay. Yes that is true! Back up with caution as the time delay is quite significant. I could have lived with this issue but there's more.
Screen is grainy! Yes also true! Significantly more grainy that the videos on this product demonstrate. Also could have lived with this issue but judging distance with this camera was really tough and you do run the risk of backing into something that wasn't clearly seen on the display. Unless you're backup to a wall or someone's bumper (with no trailer hitch attached), you can't see clearly what you're backing up to.
Finally, I would have kept the product but the camera's firmware updates kept popping up after I have loaded everything, updated my phone, the apps, etc etc etc.
Only fix was to pull the camera off my car, push the initiate button so that the camera could be detected by my phone, run the firmware and then re-install everything. After a half dozen times performing this fix, and after calling tech support for assistance, I've given up and am returning this product.
This is a great idea! The concept is fantastic! Unfortunately, the execution is very poorly done! Would have loved to see a better camera attached, and an app that worked properly.

Did not meet expectations

I bought this a few days ago for my Acura TL and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed in this product. I'm a bit surprised about the 5 star ratings, as this product lagged incredibly. I was using a Samsung Galaxy S8 phone so it was definitely not due to that.
By the time the video on your phone catches up (2-4 second delay), you've already hit the car in back of you.
To add, the picture quality is incredibly grainy, but I didn't mind that if the product actually showed me what was in back in REAL-TIME.
Returning it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Look-It will work while plugged into CarPlay, however the image is displayed on the iPhone, not on the vehicle display.
