    Purchased this model a couple of weeks ago. Impressed so far with the build and features. Assembled it myself - took about 2 hours maybe 40 bolts/screws, so not too bad. It is heavy so make sure you have the help moving it.

    This is my 2nd Livestrong treadmill having lost the first one in the custody battle. The LS13.0T treadmill is a solid machine with more bells and whistles that most of us will ever need. The box in which the product is packed is very heavy and you will need at least two healthy people to manouvre it around. Although instructions state otherwise, I unpacked mine upstairs and carried the separate parts to the basement. Be careful NOT to cut the ties that are strapped around the belt/frame as this will release the spring loaded bed. Assembly will take you a few hours and instructions are crazy clear and easy to follow. I have used the treadmill only a few times so far, but can say it is a great and solid treadmill that will be suffice for most runners. Having finished over a 100 triathlons - from sprint to Ironman - I like to think I am an informed runner and I have researched treadmills for weeks before making this purchase.

    If you like to run and don't want to brave the inclement weather, this is the treadmill to get. It's got some serious substance to it while being not as heavy as a gym treadmill. The programs are good and I love the fact that it has a fan on it! You can go in to full on sprint and it'll take it (mind you, I'm nowhere near the max weight that the treadmill will take). I use it almost daily and the only complaint I have is that while you can fold up the track - it's basically going to stay exactly where it is, you can't move it easily (there are no wheels/rollers that lock it ). So be prepared to dedicate a fixed area for it to go.

    Bought this treadmill a few months back on sale. I'm a bigger guy (230 lbs) it works really well and have had zero issues with it. Between my wife and I we use it everyday. It is not as heavy as the treadmills at the gym, but does everything we need it to do and folds up when not on use.

    Q: How difficult is the treadmill to lift into folding mode? Is this treadmill equipped with some type of "lift-assist" feature to make it easier to fold? I also would like to know how hard it is to move the treamill once it is in the folded position. Is it equipped with wheels?

    • A: Very easy to fold; just lift & the pneumatic shocks help like a car hood or hatchback. It has wheels & wheel locks; probably moves well on hardwood/tile, not so good on carpet due to the weight.

    Q: LS 13.0t and LS 13t - is there a difference? Does CT carry both? When I was in a Canadian Tire store I thought I saw both the LS13t (2.75 hp motor) and the LS13.0t (3hp motor), what is the difference? Is the price the same?

    • A: I bought the new model. It does NOT come with the heartrate chest belt neither the USB key. You CANNOT transfer your activities to your computer anymore. The USB pod is only used for update purposes. A real downgrade from the old model.

    Q: How high is from the ground is the pltform / tread at full incline? I am wondering as this would end up in my basement, which has seven foot ceilings - and need to know if I will have enough clearance.

    • A: My basement also has 7' ceilings & I'm 6'2"; I haven't had any issues at any setting yet. The tread part of the unit is about 5" off the ground.
