This rod is strong and easy to assemble. Used it to hang a curtain in my doorway where I couldn't drill holes. The spring action works great and you can't beat the price -no complaints here!

Absolute garbage save your money.

When I tried to set these up in my 44 inch window the rod started to buckled and would not even stay up. Save your money and don't buy this rod if you want your curtains to stay up.

Q: What is the maximum weight threshold?

A: Our Tension Rod's have a weight threshold of approximately 1/2 lbs per foot. For a rod measuring 24"-48" we would not recommend anything over 2 lbs in weight. Tension rods are not designed to withstand heavier window coverings or fabrics. Thank you very much for your inquiry.
