Q: The image of the product shows markings on the dimmer; it says only for use with incandescent bulbs. But the description says good for LED and compact fluorescent. Which is correct.
4 years agoA: It kind a work for LED but when you turn the nob fully counterclockwise it just dim a little bit, it not turn the light off completely. And at this position sometime my LED flicker a little bit.

Q: Will this work as a variable speed switch for my fireplace fan ? I changed on/off switch to sliding dimmer switch and not happy with results, as does not blow at full speed now, resulting in fan does not run in half mode of dimmer switch.

Q: Leviton Universal Rotary Light Dimmer, #052-9298-4 Product desc'n says "Leviton Universal Rotary Dimmer designed for optimal control of dimmable LED and CFL lamps" In photo, "incandescent ONLY" is stamped onto metal case of dimmer. Which is true?
5 years agoA: The 0529298 rotary dimmer is indeed an universal dimmer, in which designed for incandescent, LED, and CFL bulbs. The picture on the site is that of the old model, Lyssa we should update the pic to the RDL06.
