This is very cool set. you can easily put minifig to ride it and it looks good in shelf, for example. It's good for playing and for decoration item.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Giant spider!

I got this set for my 9 year old daughter thinking she'd build the dragon but she instead built the spider. Even though she hates spiders she really liked how the build turned out. It's now sitting on top of my ghostbusters fire house in the attack pose (along with the green dinosaurs from our last Lego Creator 3 in 1 kits). Not a fan on the third build option, the troll. Not very appealing. But looking forward to building the dragon with the second kit I bought.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Watch out for spiders...

As other reviewers have pointed out, the main build (Dragon) is similar to that of 31032, Red Creatures, and while being a nice build in and of itself is not what drew me to this set. The Troll can safely be ignored; the show stealer is the Giant Spider, with its fantastic multi-pose build, realistically depicting plenty of people’s worst nightmare! The build itself is pretty straightforward but does leave a fair few spare pieces. However, with a reasonable small amount of effort, the vast majority of these can be incorporated into the original design, mostly to beef up the abdomen to make the spider even more imposing- see additional pictures. I also swapped a couple of the legs over to help with stability issues when posing the model.

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • What’s that over there...?
  • Does my bum look big in this...?
  • Review photo 3.

Tarantula could be better...

This is similar to the red creatures set from couple years ago. Both sets have dragons as the main build, and they're fairly similar looking. Although, I can only judge by the boxes, because I built the scorpion from that set. I actually bought this set for the tarantula, and there are quite a few pieces leftover after the build. This is a little annoying, and if the design had used all the pieces, maybe it would be the same size as the scorpion from the previous set. Overall, I like the tarantula design and the creator creature sets remain some of the coolest and best value sets.

Yes, I recommend this product.
