Q: Can I use this product to remove stains and spots on my stainless steel fridge? I regularly use a stainless cleaner, but lately it looks spotted even after cleaning. I don't know what to do to restore the look without destroying the finish.

A: The Lagostina powdered cleaner has been developed for stainless steel and copper cookware. The manufacturer does not recommend using it on non-stick surfaces.

Q: Is the "chemical" is Lagostina Stainless Steel and Copper Cleaner sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)? If not, what is it? I ask because the previous question did not get a straight answer, and because it is non-toxic and biodegradable.
