    You can change the handles on the cookware which make it easy for cooking and there very durable. I love these pots and when I get a new set I will look for the same ones.

    I had a set of lagostina cookware for 30 years and loved it but it was getting a little dowdy so I purchased the Grande Cucina. Hated it the first time I used it. The tiny handles got very hot and wiggled too much. The lid handles could not be touched without a hot mit as they were also too hot. If you use oil - and heat it with the lid on, the lid holds moisture and drips in to the heating oil causing splatter. Tried to buy extra long handles - can't do that as far as I can see.

    Ils mettent de l'avant que les poignées sont enlevables, mais ça fait 3 fois que je dois retourner la boîte lors de l’achat parce que les poignées ne sont pas efficaces. Soit le ressort ne fonctionne pas, soit que ça ne clip pas, soit que ça ne s'enlève pas! En plus, elles sont toujours "lousses". Avons-nous vraiment besoin d'enlever les poignées sur nos casseroles de toute façon? Je vais le rapporter!

    Pads, handles, and stacking

    CONS: Some of the protective pads are useless since the smaller saucepans will rest on the larger ones by their handles, not by the base. I suppose you can use them as hot pads when serving... The smaller "nub" handles don't fit nicely. They're loose and jiggle; as you would expect when you put a pin in a slot. They advertise that everything stacks together neatly. Not really. The 6 qt "dutch oven" doesn't stack onto the skillet (they're the same diameter). And what about the lids?! They're the least stack-friendly lids in my kitchen. PROS: Thick bases*. Despite all the fluff, the cookware is rugged and made of quality material. *The skillet has a relatively thin base. I don't expect the non-stick coating to last very long. Despite the non-stack-friendly shape of the lids, they do hold condensation nicely and are made of tempered glass.

    • A: The Lagostina Grande Cucina 24Pc Clip Set cookware bodies are ok in the oven up to 400F/204C. The lids and removable handles are ok in the oven up to 350F/176C.
