I purchased this a few days ago. I am very pleased with it as the price was reasonable & fair. Bonus is it came with batteries. The only downfall is there's no background light, for at night time to see the display. Hence why I gave it 4 stars.

Pass on this one, and move on to a better device

Stopped working after 4 months. Changed batteries several times, tried moving base and transmitter around, but the remote kept dropping the signal and the inside temperature was consistently 5-7 degrees off. Finally gave up and took it to the Eco-Station for recycling. Never again from this manufacturer.
