Bought two units years ago one for Coffee and one for Spices

As the title says, I purchases two units at the same time with a specific purpose for each and a label maker. One was for Coffee and one was for Spices. Both of them has worked reliably for years and are so easy to clean if you follow the instructions. I typically use a dry cloth to get all the dust from whatever is ground and then follow with a damp cloth. Due to the metal cup, as long as you at least wipe the dust away with a dry cloth it won't carry any flavors over (I use a lot of cloves in my spice designated grinder) if you need to use it multiple times for different flavored coffees or spices. I very much recommend this product, and if you care to look at the manual and recommendations in it, you can tell the brand cares about its product and the use for it's consumer.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Stopped after two months

My husband and son gave this to me for Christmas. It's stopped working last week. It makes noise like it's working but then does nothing and overheats.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Had mine since 1990-Still griding my beans in 2025!

Type 203- Is a workhorse. I'm tempted to buy another just in case this stops working one day & if KRUPs ever goes away or sells. Hopefully they are still keeping the same quality in construction because this is amazing! I have wiped mine down so many times-The word KRUP is no longer on the front of it and the inside of the lid has had pieces chipped off it by the swirling beans-But that might happen after 35 years of wiping it down. Keep up the quality work KRUPS!!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not as durable as they used to be. Cannot repair

I've had this style of grinder for decades. All of them have failed in the same exact way, one side of the a/c cord breaks after years of flexing where it comes out of the grinder. A simple repair for most people but the clips that hold the bottom of the grinder on are designed to break if you try to release them. Why? This is infuriating. Unlikely I'll purchase another one for this reason alone. Wasteful.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought mine in Feb 1997, still working well into July 2024

I bought my KRUPS coffee maker and KRUPS coffee grinder new at a local store (back in those days) in February 1997. My KRUPS grinder appears identical to this F2034251, but mine is "Model 203B" made in Mexico (at first glance I was a bit concerned as I'd hoped it had been made in Germany). My KRUPS grinder is still working well into July 2024 when I posted this review. As I read some negative reviews here it has me wondering what might have changed? I paid $19.99 for mine, and have had more than my money's worth for excellent performance and longevity. In 2018 I bought a Keurig coffee maker. But now I find my faithful KRUPS grinder is withdrawing me away from wasteful standard Keurig K-Cups, as with the KRUPS I can grind fresh whole coffee (more affordable at COSTCO), as much as I need, and put some into my Keurig "MY K-Cup Reuseable Filter" (ground coffee holder) to make a fine cup of coffee. As far as critiques about cleaning, I've not had problems carefully washing the grinder stainless steel interior tub (even with the captive cutting blade there), and wash the clear lid, all the while taking care not to immerse the body of get water into the bottom, then setting it to the side to dry. I suppose that one who wants this to be removable can spend more 50% more to buy the KRUPS Vortex model grinder; I am happier with the same result of coffee, but with less to go wrong or get lost. Sorry complainers, but your experiences have not been mine.

Yes, I recommend this product.
