Q: I need to cut strips of plywood of 15/16" . Will this tool work for me.
2 years agoA: Thank you. I thought it may not work because the ruler starts at 1". Since this is not a limit I will give it a try. Once the plywood becomes narrower than the guide I will finish with a table saw.

Q: will it rip cut 1/4" off a 11 ft long pressure treated board
2 years agoA: Absolutely would rip 1/4” off pressure treated. Pressure treated has a good solid straight edge so knocking off 1/4” would be a fun task. I cut straight edges on milled pine and this straight edge speeds up my production immensely. Cut a rough piece before tackling the pressure treated. Takes a couple of passes to get the hang of the tool. I use this to straight edge 14’ pine boards.

Q: will this guide work on the dewalt 578 flexvolt circular saw ?
3 years agoA: This should work with all saws. Left or right side blade. Once set up, need to stay with that saw. Easy removal and reinstallation to the exact same spot.

8 months agoA: No, the Kreg Rip-Cut is designed for use with circular saws, not jigsaws, and is not compatible with a jigsaw
