Budget friendly but it shows. Used this boot twice and the end of the removable lining had wore through and residue of some sort that was in the bottom of the the boot from nee plugged the end of the gun barrel. Mount is easy to install but it’s design if you’re riding on rough trails it shakes like crazy. Definitely not for guns with scopes.

ATV Gun boot with bracket does the job

installation of the gun boot with the bracket was straight forward and took under 15 minutes. On my first day out hunting with it I lost one turn knob and the stickers started peeling off and have now lost them after only two times out. Kolpin was contacted about the turn knob and are in the process of sending me a replacement. Until then I got nylon nuts and flat washers with some split washers for the turn knobs. I would recommend getting split washers from day one and install under the turn knob because they will loosen off...I had mine zinging tight, and I still lost one. Otherwise, the boot does the trick, I do find it a bit flimsy and wish it was more rugged, the firearm will swing around when going over rough terrain, if the boot was made a bit thicker it would limit that a bit more. I also have been using a soft gun case instead of the one that comes with the boot to keep the firearms more secure.

A: It’s water resistant/ not water proof. Meaning it will hold out rain but you could not hold it under water with it resisting.
