[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried it for the first time in the new year and the black plastic protective attachment broke into small pieces thus I have to pour the entire smoothie into the waste. I wasn’t applying undue force and the smoothie was banana, yogurt, cut up dates and milk. I wasn’t expecting a brand new appliance to fail so quickly. Now I use it without the protective cover..other than that, it seems to work fine.

Have wanted one for years after buying a Kitchenaid Stand mixer. Used a number of times in the lead up to Christmas and has worked seamlessly.
