A very good blender.

This mixer is powerful. It lets me put frozen bananas into it for smoothies - I just push the "crush ice" setting and it can easily pulverize the frozen banana; then I can switch the setting to "smoothie" and it will whip up a great smoothie. I also like that it turns itself off when the "ice" is pulverized, and the smoothie is ready.
A really good feature is that the top container will fit only one way into the base, so there's no chance of accidentally having the placement off a bit - which would strip the gears.
The top container is light which makes it easy to handle.

Easy features and a beauty to behold

I bought this product during the holiday season and I am so pleased with this item. This purchase happened because I left the spoon in the jar of a previous model the KBS, and I have learned my lesson. The jar got a hole due to the power that that model has. When I finished the purchase of a new jar, I was offered this new model , the Pure Power Blender. I agreed and ordered it. It is a beauty, powerful and very easy to operate. I just love it and I will definitely have the utmost care in using this blender.

Great blener

I absolutely love this blender. I used it to make my 1st smoothie and it was delicious. The red is bright and looks good on my counter. Kitchenaid has always been my go to for appliances. I have been using the same stand mixer for 38 yrs and it works the same as it did on day one. I look forward to making smoothies for years to come

The worst blender ever made.

Absolutely horrible blender. It can’t blend anything. Not even smoothies or a milk shake. About 2 seconds into blending something it creates an air pocket around the blades and then nothing is getting blended. No matter how many times you scrape it down into the blades the same thing happens. Literally within seconds of turning it on. The worst blender I’ve ever owned. I will be sticking with my ninja.
No, I do not recommend this product.
