Good charcoal, very consistent heat and last a while, but it's very Smokey when first lighting it up in the chimney starter so be mindful of the neighbours around you when using it

Q: Are Kingsford charcoal briquettes compostable? Or should. Throw them n the garbage?

A: Don’t compost or fertilize with old briquets. They contain ingredients other than charcoal to make them efficient cooking fuels. Charcoal briquets do not aid in the breakdown of organic matter.
