2026 Toyota Highlander ; works great , other reviews are misleading as they said it did not work. I installed , tested and was able to close cover. I recommend this Immobilizer.

I bought this product to install in a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid. Both the KEZ and Canadian Tire websites confirmed that it was compatible. However, there were no model-specific installation instructions, even though the packaging said to scan a code for instructions. The code led to a website stating that instructions would be available after downloading the app and creating an account, but none were provided. I had to contact customer support and wait for a response, so expect delays and possibly some back-and-forth if you plan to install it yourself. I eventually received instructions explaining which relay to replace and where to find it, since the Grand Highlander Hybrid does not have a relay labeled “Starter” or “ST.” The KEZ relay is taller than the original relay, so I could not close the fuse-box cover after installing it. I decided to test it anyway and armed the device. When I tried to start the vehicle, it did not start, as expected. At first, I thought, “Great, it’s working.” However, the vehicle then displayed numerous warnings, including “System Malfunction,” a check-engine light, low braking power, and a message instructing me to visit a dealer. After disarming the device, I was able to start the vehicle again, but I was left with fault codes that needed to be cleared. I am not sure whether this is normal behavior. Because the relay is taller than the original, I cannot close the fuse-box cover. I do not want to leave the box exposed for several reasons. I will be returning the product and waiting to see whether a future hardware revision resolves these issues.

The kez device is easy to install and works great I installed this device on my 2022 Lexus rx350 with no issues. One thing I don’t like about the app is that it logs me out every so often and would always need to refresh the app for it to recognize to give me the option to enable or disable. But regardless it works great and does its purpose
