    Very Easy to Assemble

I purchased this to house my generator, it was very easy to put together. It is very light weight so it was easy to move where I wanted it after assembling it in the shade. The instructions were very clear. As it is very light, if you do not store something heavy in it you should peg it to the ground as shown in the instructions, or it could blow around.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Light duty only

Purchased two of these to hold garbage containers at some apartments we own. The hinges let go on the lid of one. The hold open mechanisms on the lids of both units broke as the spring is much to small. the front door clasps broke. I would not recommend for this unit for regular weekly use. Buy the Rubbermaid model instead which is what I will do once they go on sale. As always, you get what you pay for...lesson learned, again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good shed (deck box) at a reasonable price

I bought this last summer to keep a Bradley Electric Smoker in. It looks really good, it protects the contents well and is roomy enough for the smoker and accessories. The doors are a little hard to close but not a big deal. I have it against the house and have had no problem with wind. I do agree with the other review, it's not all that heavy and a little annoying to assemble since the pieces don't go together well. However it definitely serves the purpose with a bit of weight in it like the smoker and supplies. I would buy it again.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Keep from any wind

This piece is great in an area that is not subjected to any wind and wind gusts. The plastic does not hold the screws very well and the entire unit if even a small gust of wind happens this unit will easily rip apart.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What are the dimensions of the shed? I want to store my generator in it. I would need something that could hold a generator which is approx. 26Hx 35L x 27W thanks Anita

    • A: I bought mine to hold my generator which was about the same size as yours, but I neglected to measure the width to the outside of the generator's wheels so the depth was about 1 inch to small. This was not a problem for me as the doors are quite flexible and were able to bend over the wheel and still close. I added a latch to hold the doors closed. make certain that you measure the widest part of your generator before purchasing this unit.

Q: Is the floor strong enough to support 2 40 lb. propane tanks? We currently have a wooden structure to house the propane tanks and are looking for something less rustic.

    • A: Yes, as long as the unit is installed on level ground that provides good support for the full floor.

Q: Is this water tight? If I were to store cushions and pillows with the shed not under any overhead shelter, would the items inside get wet?

    2 Answers
    • A: Yes they would likely get wet as it is not water proof. Water can seep in around the doors and through the floor.

    Q: are they stackable?

    1 Answer
    • A: While the Midi Storage Shed's maximum roof load is 154lbs/ft², these sheds were not designed and/or tested for stacking, Hence it isn't recommended.
