Help for Doug....

Doug' comment above leads me to believe he may have hooked it up wrong. Don't hook up the illumination/dimmer wire. Also you may have the memory wire hooked up wrong if clock isn't holding time. Just a thought.

Sounds ok, poor illumination

Poor illumination... looks fine in-store and at night, but the screen brightness is too dark during the daytime. Brightness set to max, only colour that shows up enough to read is "whiteish". Clock doesn't seem to hold time (but presets are maintained when car is off). Good sound quality, usb to the ipod works well... but the poor illumination makes the radio unusable during the daytime.

No, I do not recommend this product.
