very useful and great for outback trips

A friend of mine brought this on our Algonquin portage trip and it was extremely useful. We mostly used it for cooking but it is very drinkable and safe. There is a MILD taste to the water once filtered, not bitter or unpleasant, probably the carbon but considering it had just come out of a lake it's to be expected. The pumping requires some effort but this is a great product and a must for any outback trips
