Good but did not fit

Looks like a good cover, but did not fit my plug. I returned the item.

Not worth the price. Better options out there.

Cheap plastic. End was way too small to cover my vehicle's plug.

Terrible design and doesn't fit over the plug

Nice soft rubber material... but that's a pro and a con as it's not very strong. This cover is the same size as the plug so has to be stretched out to fit over the plug. Very difficult to do with fingers and impossible with gloves on. It has a little pocket recessed inside for the ground prong and if you don't get it in there the cover will never go over the plug. Also, no way to attach this to the front grill or to the plug cord except with zip ties. Not sure who designed this because the little loop at the end of the rubber thong fits over nothing. Unfortunately Canadian Tire does not accept returns of opened items and you have to open this to find out that it doesn't work. Waste of money.

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • Cover is same size as plug
  • What do I do with that little loop on the end?

Questions

Q: Does this fit over the entire plug end or just the prongs?

  • A: It's just a prong cover.

Q: How do you attach the strap to the cord? There's only a small hole at the end which looks way too small to fit over the plug. Others i've seen tend to have a slit down the middle. Are you just supposed to cut a slit yourself?

1 Answer
  • A: 1) Put the back of the strap back through the end hole. 2) Pull it through forming a loop. 3) Fit the loop over the plug. 4) Push the loop all the way to the cord. 5) Pull tight and place the cover over the plug.
