handy but didnt last?!

Had my k5 for just over a year. Love the p w, and the wand is very convenient to use. However, yesturday...after about five minutes into rinsing of the car...it burst open at the seems along the shaft? Luckily I saved a normal wand from my old k2, which was also a good unit, it lasted approx 8 years with alot of use. Bought this replacement wand...hopefully i just had a dud. cheers, me.
