Q: Karcher part number This item's specifications should indicate it's Karcher part number 2.642.581.0. This gun requires the newer quick-connect style hose. The older style hose, with a separate horseshoe-style clip connection, requires replacement gun number 2.641-959.0.

A: Hi, thanks for the feedback. This trigger gun (Karcher part number 2.642-581.0) is compatible with all Karcher electric pressure washers with quick connect hoses, which covers most electric units produced by Karcher since 2010. Earlier models had a clip-style connection and can accept Karcher trigger gun 2.642-580.0 OR can be upgraded to quick connect with Karcher's Replacement Hose/Gun Kit (Karcher part number 2.642-708.0). Q: Will this gun work on a Model 580 made in Germany 1.9 GPM @1000 PSI the hose is not Quick Connect at the in end of gun, only the wands.
