not able to perform like previous models

We purchased this mixer, I tried one batch of sandwich bread dough, and then we promptly returned the unit. It simply couldn't handle needing bread dough at the speed required for the time required. I see that KA responds to low star reviews. Instead of the generic response it would be really helpful to provide some information as to why KA made these unwanted and detrimental changes to what had been a great appliance.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a KitchenAid stand mixer for 40 years as I was raising my family. This mixer is NOT nearly as good. I feels loose and makes a very different sound. I hope it lasts half as long.
