Nice Sauna - Short Life Spa

I've had this sauna for about 4 years. The bottom panel under the seat never really heated up. To CTC's credit j complained and they replaced. Same issue with new sauna and a technician came out and said that's just the way they work. Said it's an inexpensive model.
Now the main heater on the back wall doesn't work. There's not even 1200 hours of use on this sauna. No chance these panels are designed for between 3000-5000 hours.
I've reached out to company for replacement parts and no response so far.
Great little sauna but expect to throw it out in a couple of years or replace all the heating elements.

Overall we're happy with it.

Fits one person comfortably. Great bluetooth speakers! Hubby had to add some insulation both on top and under the floor to keep out the cold. Made a huge difference and got up to temp much quicker. Our sauna is now being used regularly. Overall were happy with it for the price.

I bought this a week ago, it took forever to put together because one of the panels is warped so not happy about that. The door lets in air near the bottom, I expected it to heat up to 60 but hasn't yet. It works ok not diggin the floor, also the bottom
heater doesn't heat up to much. I like it but if I knew what I know now I would not pay that price for this, it's a little disappointing

Q: Based on a previous question, it appears this sauna uses Canadian hemlock, but is made overseas. Has the wood treated with any lacquers or chemicals?

A: We don’t use any chemicals to treat the inside of the sauna, just a small amount of odourless eco friendly treatment on the outside panels to increase sauna longevity and durability.

A: The sauna uses 15A (1800W) when on full power, so it comes down to the amount that the user pays per kWh (which various from province to province). Basic calculation with $0.10/kWh: 1.8kW * $0.10 = $0.18/h $0.18 h/3 = $0.06 / 20min Therefore the cost is approximately $0.06/20min

Q: I use the sauna at my gym and the temperature is set to 71 degrees Celsius Can I adjust this sauna to reach this temperature?

A: Unfortunately the highest temperature that the sauna can be set to is 70C. The sauna at your gym is most likely a steam sauna, which needs to be set higher than an infrared sauna to actually get the temperature up to 50+C. The infrared sauna is much more efficient then the steam sauna.
