A good 3-piece set to have

15 years ago

Step drills are engineered to make holes in thin materials, specifically metals and plastics. Their design allows for many hole sizes to be drilled using one bit. Irwin's Unibit set is a worthwhile investment if you find yourself drillig in thin metal or plastic stock. It's any even sweeter deal when you buy them on sale.
