I like that this power probe can send 3V or 5V, in addition to 12V, compared to others I have used in the past. In addition, the pivoting head helps get to hard to reach areas. The long cord has been very helpful as well. It allows you to connect directly to the car battery, or via a 12V outlet. The unit has been durable so far, and I have had many Innova products for several years now. Although power probes have a learning curve for beginners, they are very helpful in automotive diagnostics. This unit has an easy to use interface, and the backlit display is nice. Most importantly, this can help save time while performing diagnostics. I recommend using this power probe in addition to a multimeter.
